Welcome to pdxBunker

Welcome to pdxBunker, a project that began partly with humor, partly with curiosity, and partly with a very serious concern about the future of our world.

At its core, pdxBunker is an effort to explore the creation of a nuclear fallout bunker designed to help protect family, friends, and loved ones in the unthinkable event of an apocalyptic nuclear war. The goal is simple: to create a space capable of helping people survive the initial blast, radiation, and immediate aftermath of a catastrophic nuclear event. While the project is still in its early stages, construction could begin as early as late 2026 if sufficient funding can be secured.

I come to this project as a public defense attorney and technology enthusiast. My professional life has been dedicated to protecting people, especially those who are vulnerable, overlooked, or at risk of being crushed by larger forces beyond their control. That same instinct drives this project. I am strongly opposed to nuclear warfare and everything it represents. But opposition alone is not always enough. pdxBunker is rooted in the belief that if the world continues down dangerous paths, ordinary people should have some way to protect the people they love.
